DripTell Forever Free is a real ongoing plan for one small WhatsApp operation, not a trial with a hidden expiry. It removes the DripTell subscription fee, but it does not make every WhatsApp message free or unlock the full platform. It is enough only when one owner, one eligible number, 500 saved contacts and 500 outgoing messages sent through the DripTell browser workspace per calendar month match the way your business actually works.
What Forever Free includes
The live Forever Free plan includes one owner, one eligible WhatsApp number, basic inbox replies and lead management, and storage for up to 500 contacts. The owner can send up to 500 outgoing WhatsApp messages from DripTell in each calendar month. There is no DripTell subscription fee, card requirement or plan expiry.
The workspace also has a one-time sample of 10 optional AI reply attempts. They do not renew, and failed attempts count.
This is narrower than the wider DripTell inbox. It excludes campaigns, scheduled follow-ups, AI calls, extra numbers, advanced automation, integrations and developer connections. It is WhatsApp only.
What the monthly limit actually counts
Every outgoing portal send counts, including failed sends and retries. Sending one message to 20 recipients uses 20 sends. The allowance resets on the first day of each month at 00:00 UTC, which is 04:00 in Dubai, and unused sends do not roll over.

Phone-app messages and imported history do not use the portal allowance where Coexistence is eligible. Coexistence is the supported setup that lets an eligible number continue using the phone app alongside the platform. At the limit, incoming messages remain saved but portal sending pauses until reset or upgrade, without automatic overage. At 500 contacts, manual creation and imports pause while incoming enquiries remain saved.
| Buying check | Forever Free answer | Practical meaning |
|---|---|---|
| People replying | One owner | No separate teammate workflow |
| WhatsApp capacity | One eligible number | One public business line |
| Saved contacts | Up to 500 | Count all saved records |
| Outgoing portal sends | 500 per calendar month | Failures, retries and AI samples count |
| Incoming messages at the limit | Still saved | Portal replies wait for reset or upgrade |
Free subscription does not mean free delivery
“Free” describes the DripTell subscription. WhatsApp messaging fees may still apply separately under the provider’s current rules, message category and recipient market. Check the official WhatsApp Business Platform pricing and use the DripTell pricing calculator for a planning estimate. A calculator is not a provider invoice.
WhatsApp permission rules still apply. You need the customer's clear permission, must respect stop requests and may need an approved template for business-initiated messages. Check the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy; a free software plan does not relax it.
Who should choose it
Forever Free fits best when one person owns the queue, one number is enough and most conversations are customer initiated. A bicycle workshop answering availability questions, a tutor confirming lesson times or an independent adviser handling a few daily enquiries can work comfortably if outgoing usage stays predictable.
Estimate from real weeks. Fifteen conversations needing two replies make about 30 sends a day, or roughly 600 across 20 working days before failures. That would not fit comfortably. Customer-initiated conversations needing one concise reply may fit. Check number eligibility in the WhatsApp channel guide.
When a paid plan is the honest choice
Choose a paid plan when two people need to reply separately, you need another number or channel, your contact base approaches 500, or 500 outgoing sends leaves no operating margin. The same applies if campaigns, scheduled follow-ups, integrations, advanced automation, AI calls or developer access are required. Compare those capabilities on the pricing page instead of trying to reproduce them manually around the free inbox.
A sensible first week
Create and verify the account, confirm Forever Free in Plans, then connect one eligible WhatsApp number. Use a small set of real conversations to confirm incoming capture, outgoing counting and the monthly reset shown in Billing.
After a week, record sends per conversation, contact growth and work completed elsewhere. Continue free if capacity remains; upgrade only when a repeated constraint provides evidence.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Forever Free expire
No. It has no DripTell subscription fee or expiry and does not automatically convert to a paid plan. Access still depends on account safety and applicable terms.
Does it require a payment card
No. A payment method is needed only if you voluntarily choose a paid service later. Separate WhatsApp messaging fees may still apply.
What happens after 500 outgoing messages
Outgoing portal sending pauses until the next monthly reset or an upgrade. Incoming enquiries remain saved, and reaching the limit does not create an automatic charge.
Can two agents share Forever Free
The plan includes one owner. If two people need their own working access, assignment or accountability, compare a paid team plan rather than sharing one identity.
